A highly respected plaintiff-side law practice is seeking an experienced
Litigation Paralegal to join its growing
Class Action team. This is an excellent opportunity to support impactful federal litigation that advocates for consumers and communities affected by product defects and environmental contamination.
You will support the Co-Chair of the Class Action Practice Group and work closely with a collaborative team of attorneys and staff. This is not a high-volume role but requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage complex, multi-layered cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive case management support on federal class action matters
- Heavy calendaring in Outlook, including court-driven deadlines and orders
- Assist with deposition preparation
- Manage trial prep, including organizing and preparing exhibits
- Perform electronic filing (federal preferred)
- Prepare and submit time entries and team T&E expense reporting
- Format and assist with drafting briefs and litigation documents
- Utilize litigation technology tools (eCase, Adobe Pro, and others)
- Collaborate with a tight-knit, friendly, and mission-driven litigation team
Requirements
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Federal litigation experience
- Strong case management skills, ideally with class actions
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with large, complex cases (preferably plaintiff-side)
- Strong skills with Microsoft Word & Excel (including pivot tables)
- Ability to handle significant calendaring responsibilities
- Electronic filing experience (federal courts strongly preferred)
- Paralegal certificate not required
